More than 25 years of experience in Technology, Telecom and TV companies. He participated in the startup of SKY Brasil DTH in 1996. In 2006 he managed the project to merge the SKY and DIRECTV operations in Brazil. In 2007 he created ABX Consulting. He has served as a Senior Consultant for TV Anhanguera (TV Globo GO), Globosat, NossaTV, TV Globo, Anhanguera Educacional, Oi / Telemar, CTBC / Algar, GVT / Vivendi and Discovery Brasil. In 2008, he collaborated on the startup of Oi TV. In 2009, he collaborated with CTBC TV (Grupo Algar). In 2010 and 2011, he participated in the assembly of GVT TV. He held the position of Operations and Transmissions Director for Grupo Anhanguera Educacional from 2011 to 2013. At the end of 2013, he assumed the presidency of iON TV (Unotel Telecom). He is a participant in the CEO Insights IBE / FGV program. He holds an Executive MBA in Business Management from FGV-RJ. Post MBA at IMD in Switzerland. He has a specialization in Competitive Intelligence from FGV Online and an extension in Satellite Communication Systems and Telecommunications Networks from PUC-RJ. He studied Electronics and Computer Engineering at UFRJ and is an Electronics Technician at CEFET-RJ. He currently holds the presidency of ABOTTs (Brazilian Association of OTTs) and is CEO of ABX Consulting.

Samuel is a business development professional, specializing in commercial strategies, with extensive experience in the content and mobility markets, including Mobile TV and Streaming products. Samuel joined the Kaltura team as Business Development Director for LATAM’s CloudTV markets in 2020, focusing on media and telecom companies. Recently, he also promoted the development of eReading markets for LATAM by Kobo, the launch of tablets for LATAM by Samsung, and worked globally on mobile Internet development by NTT DOCOMO, Inc. Samuel started his career at Ericsson where he closed important milestones GSM/UMTS infrastructure supply contracts with companies such as TIM Mobile, Embratel, among others. She works managing the Sexy Hot digital product in all its spheres and is responsible for online and offline marketing of the main adult content brands in the Brazilian market. Fabia has worked in a plethora of Jobs and shows tremendous expertise in areas ranging from Business management, Market Relationships to Data and Audiences. Until 2021, she was Executive Director of Research & Knowledge at Globo, the largest broadcaster and media group of Brazil and Latin America, in which she led the transformation of the research unit into a center of expertise. In that role she managed all Audiences, data and research initiatives for the entire group of companies.
In the course of Fábia’s tenure, Globo reshaped its portfolio and was able to adapt into a mediatech, growingly supported by research and data. These assets combined have enabled considerable growth and inclusion of digital and tech talent inside the company.

Established in Brazil, she led several different business units within the IBOPE Group. Helder Machado started working when he was 17 years old, as an office boy, the company was called TV VIDEO CABO at the time, it was only 22 TV channels broadcast on a 450mhz network, and he went through several sectors in the company, and in two years, it emerged opportunity to work as an installer technician. After that he became a network technician and took some courses in the area. He became interested in projects, took an autocad course, began designing networks, took a technical course in telecommunications, became responsible for the headend of the company, and then became technology manager, where he first implemented cable internet, and then , digital TV. Soon, he implemented wireless internet and finally the internet via fiber. Today, he still works with all these technologies, analog TV, digital and iSDBt, cable internet, wireless and fiber. He has been in the business for 23 years, has the master as his home, and he also opened his own company operating in the North of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in which he is a managing partner. The company is called Vianorte.
I have been in the industry since 2016 working as an Account Manager in different business areas. Overall, my experience rounds around linear and non-linear straming services, OTT, VOD and IPTV. I have coordinated integrally the creation and launching of new products, built business strategies of several of them and implemented new processes designed to enhance the service experience from the business and the end user POV.
Since 2019, I have been Regional Account Manager in Goose Technology. In this role, I have been in charge of new market development and client acquisition in several regions including Latin America, Middle East, North Africa and Europe. Great part of what we have done in Goose is to develop a SaaS solution aimed to democratize the access to a comprehensive video service platform with abundant features, cloud-based with global coverage plus a quick time-to-market and whithout the need of a millionaire investmet.
